Welcome to the 2024-25 Hockey Season Registration Information

About Whitemud West Hockey Association:

  • We are a proud member of the EMHA and provide programs for players aged 4 to 12 years.
  • Our area is bounded by Stony Plain Road on the North, the North Saskatchewan River South and East, and the city limits West.
  • Important note for U13 players: If you wish to try out for CAC U13AA, register directly with CAC. If your player does not make a team with CAC, contact registrar@whitemudwest.com before registering with Whitemud West to receive the early bird discount.

 

Registration Information:

  • June 1st, 2024- Online registration opens.
  • July 15, 2024- Early Bird Fee deadline and first installment payment is due.
  • August 15, 2024- Second and Final Installment payment due

 

RETURNING WHITEMUD WEST PLAYERS:

  • Use your existing MY SPORDLE ACCOUNT login for online registration.

A completed registration for RETURNING PLAYERS includes:

 

NEW FIRST-TIME PLAYERS:

*** NOTE: You must add a MEMBER (sibling) from your Spordle Account dashboard if you already have one.  You will select REGISTER NOW from the online registration link and then register now - You will search for your player using the player's name and birthdate – if not found you select Add a new member/participant.

A completed registration for NEW PLAYERS includes:

  • Complete Respect in Sport Parent Online Course (RIS)- this will be valid for 4 years - select WHITEMUD WEST as the association (VERY IMPORTANT) or add to a valid certificate under Child Management.
  • Parent Declaration Form - Enter registration@whitemudwest.com in the MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION SUBMISSION box, and attach your Player Birth Certificate, Alberta Health Care Card Proof of Residency a current utility bill on the first page only showing your name and address (water, gas, electricity), or upload under documents on your new players HCR Spordle account.
  • Volunteer Cheques or online deposit payment and Deposit Form
  • Payment (Visa/Debit, or MasterCard/Debit)

 

TRANSFERRING PLAYER:

Email the Registrar at registrar@whitemudwest.com to request a transfer from the player's previous association. Include your player's full Name and birthdate.

  • Parent Declaration Form - Enter registration@whitemudwest.com in the MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION SUBMISSION box, and attach your Player Birth Certificate, Alberta Health Care Card Proof of Residency a current utility bill on the first page only showing your name and address (water, gas, electricity), or upload under documents on HCR Spordle.
  • Volunteer cheques or online deposit payment and deposit Form

Refund Policy

Registration fees are set by the Whitemud West Executive before the start of the season. Fees must be paid in full, and all documents received at registration to participate in the 2024 -2025 season. If this is not possible, appropriate arrangements must be made before participation in WWHA activities. (Contact the WWHA office at 780 486-6486 registrar@whitemudwest.com).

 

Refund Policy

Players withdrawing from WWHA may apply for a refund as follows:

  • Before evaluations – refund of paid fees minus a $50.00 administration fee.
  • During evaluations and before placement on a team –Refund of fees minus a $150.00 administration/evaluation fee.
  • After placement on the team registration fees- are non-refundable.

 

EMHA Policy

Notwithstanding anything contained in any bylaw, regulation, or operating directive, or any other rule of the EMHA Board of Directors, Federation, Junior, or AA Hockey, registration as a player or member is not a right, but a privilege, and the EMHA Board of Directors reserves the right to refuse or revoke membership and or registration to anyone whose conduct or that of her parent, guardian or family has failed to comply with the values of our mission statement, vision statement or “Good of the Game” conduct requirements.

 

The 2024-25 Hockey Season is tentatively set to begin at the beginning of October

Evaluations for players will begin at the beginning of September 2024 (We will update our website and email each age division with their evaluation dates/times/locations once our ice times are confirmed).
