KidSport supports children who need financial assistance with
sport registration fees.
We do this through a community funded fee assistance program called, KidSport's ‘So ALL Kids Can Play!’ Grant Program.
WHAT IS THE OIL COUNTRY HOCKEY ASSIST PROGRAM (HAP)?
The Hockey Assist Program (HAP) is funded by the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation and funds a big portion, if not all, of the registration fee connected to competition and season based ice hockey programs.
HOW DO I APPLY?
Step 1: Register your child in Hockey with Whitemud West Hockey Association.
Step 2: Apply for funding through KidSport Edmonton.
Step 3: If you require equipment, KidSport Edmonton will connect you with our equipment partner, Sport Central.
Approved applicants within Oil Country will have their registration fees covered and have access to no-cost equipment from Sport Central.
