Minor Hockey Week will be held January 7 - 16, 2022.

This tournament is solely run by volunteers and therefore it is critical that all WWHA families volunteer.

Here are the roles to help you understand the position you will be volunteering for.

Button Sellers (2):

  • Sells the admission buttons or tickets into Minor Hockey Week
    • Single entrance tickets - $3 (18 years old - 64 years old) Everyone else free
    • Buttons to access all MHW games and free McDonalds coffee - $5 (18 years old - 64 years old) Everyone else free
  • Responsible for their own cash outs after their shift.  Each shift will have a tally sheet.  Money and Cash will be put in an envelope and sealed, leaving cash float in the cash box for the next shift.

Checkers (2):

  • Each checker will receive a form with the players jersey numbers – 1 home, 1 visitor
  • Must be close to the player boxes so they can let coaches know if a player hasn’t done TWO (2) shifts per period before the period is over – best if in the penalty box for the team they are checking.
  • Dress warm!

Timeclock operator (1) & Score keeper (1):

  • Operate time clock – experience an asset
  • Fill out score sheet – must be legible for Area Managers input into online system

**Absolutely NO kids under 18 in the time clock or penalty box – insurance and liability issue**
