Whitemud West Hockey Association hosted its annual Spring Tournament the weekend of March 21st to March 23rd, 2008. There were 7 categories with a total of 27 teams participating. Thank you Cyclone Taylor Sports for your generosity and sponsorship of our 2008 Tournament. The many volunteers, businesses and the 2 local Hockey Academies ensured that the annual tournament was a fun and successful event.

Congratulations to the NW Zone PW Tier 2 Raiders. They were the first Edmonton-based team to ever make it to the medal round of the Alberta Winter Games which were held in Leduc in February 2008. The players, coaches and parents will cherish the memories from the event for years to come.
